Our History

 

President, Charla Bowman and Vice-President, Samantha Beheler, became close friends during previous employment. During that time, they quickly realized the potential opportunities and need for trucking companies that were versatile in their hauling services and paired with customer service. As their previous employer was closing their doors, they decided to start their own business to meet the needs of companies.

Charla’s husband, Tyler, who has been a huge supporter of their idea, one day suggested the name Shero. Shero has the definition of women with strong character and strength. They agreed this was a perfect name, and soon after in February 2023, Shero Empire, LLC was established.

 

When starting this business their foundation was very easy for them to establish. They wanted to provide convenience without having to compromise on quality service.

 

Shero Empire’s vision is executed by our dedicated and like-minded staff members.

 

In mid 2023 Shero Empire, LLC received the DBE Certification from the Ohio Department of Transportation. In early 2024 they continued on to receive their WBE Certification. In September, they received their national certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Moving into the future with this company, the owners continue to stay true to their values while expanding their offerings of business solutions.

Charla and Samantha both value being women with qualities such as strength and determination, and both having daughters, they try to lead by example and strive to instill their daughters to be empowered. They hope that they are building a successful and reputable business that their daughters will supersede them someday.
