Our History

 

President, Charla Bowman and Vice-President, Samantha Beheler, became close friends during previous employment. With a combined 30+ years in similar industries, that utilizes trucking, they recognized the need for knowledgeable, integral, safe trucking companies that also paired this with excellent customer service.

Charla’s husband, Tyler, who has been a huge supporter of their idea, one day suggested the name Shero. Shero has the definition of women with strong character and strength. They agreed this was a perfect name, and soon after in February 2023, Shero Empire, LLC was established.

 

Starting with two semis, Shero Empire focused on building strong, long-term relationships with local businesses, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions. Over the short time period established, the company has expanded in operations to serve a diverse range of industries, continuously investing in employees, equipment, and opportunities to meet a growing demand. Our commitment to versatility and high-quality service has driven Shero Empire’s success, and as we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to delivering safe and reliable trucking solutions for our customers.

In mid 2023 Shero Empire, LLC received the DBE Certification from the Ohio Department of Transportation. In early 2024 they continued on to receive their WBE Certification. In September, they received their national certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as both an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). In January of 2025 Shero Empire, LLC. received their EDGE certification from the Ohio Department of Development and became a Certified WBENC Business.

Charla and Samantha both value being women with qualities such as strength and determination, and both having daughters, they try to lead by example and strive to instill their daughters to be empowered. They hope that they are building a successful and reputable business that their daughters will supersede them someday.
